 May 2009 Sponsor Event Our sponsor event was held on May 24th, 2009. The show included beautiful performances of classical Indian dance by Jayantee Paine-Ganguly and the Konark dance school performers. The program included presentations of the schoolchildren and updates on Forward Hope projects and status. Our sponsors and wonderful volunteers made it a successful event to reach our fundraising goals for Pallabi Hope School and important projects. Click here to view pictures of her visit.

Pallabi Hope School for the slum children in Mirpur was started in June 2008 with support from our sponsors and donors. It now provides free classes and snacks six days a week to 90 children who had previously never attended school.

Inauguration of Pallabi Hope School in Mirpur slum
1. We opened our first school in slum area of Mirpur, Bangladesh to provide basic education and nutrition to these impoverished children. Candidates for Education Sponsorship of Victims of Sidr Cyclone

1. Forward Hope is sponsoring the education of 10 young girls whose lives have been devastated by the Sidr Cyclone which hit Bangladesh in November 2007 killing over 3,000 people.
